The International Abacus Olympiad 2025 is a math competition for children with the primary purpose of promoting mathematical excellence, enhancing problem-solving skills, fostering creativity, boosting self-confidence, encouraging a love for learning, inspiring future mathematicians, and building lifelong skills. This event provides a unique platform for children to explore and excel in mental math, empowering them with valuable life skills and a passion for mathematics.

  • We’re excited to extend a special invitation to all young mathematicians aged 5 to 14 for the “International Abacus Olympiad 2025”.
  • Awards, trophies, and certificates will be presented to recognize and celebrate the incredible achievements of the top students at each of the International Abacus Olympiad’s Challenge’s learning levels.

Categories

  • There are categories A, B, C. You need to choose according to the age of the child, and you need to choose your child’s Level based on their knowledge of abacus when applying for the competition.

Category : Level 0 : Abacus Beginners

  • Suitable for:  Based on Mental Maths, for students who are new to abacus and do not know how to use abacus tool and prefer doing questions mentally or using pen and paper.

Category : Level Without Compliments:

  • Suitable for:  Students who have recently joined an abacus class and have not completed 34 formulas but wish to use abacus tool and can only attempt questions that don’t use any compliments.
